The Sugar Valley Wrap is a trapezoidal shawl comprised of dozens of multi-coloured triangles crocheted using the intarsia colourwork method.
Crocheted in just the double crochet stitch, this beginner-friendly wrap is the perfect project for distracted crocheting. This pattern is easy to customize in terms of size, and additional sections of triangles can be added for a larger shawl, if desired.
The Sugar Valley Wrap is crocheted with my own Knits 'N Knots Fingering yarn from my BLOOM Collection, featuring 10 colorways of hand-dyed yarn and 3 accompanying patterns.
Yarn: Fingering—Knits ‘N Knots Fingering in 3 shades: MC (Cream), CA (Calla Lily), and CB (Hydrangea)
MC: 2 hanks or 705 yds (645 m)
CA: 2 hanks or 549 yds (502 m)
CB: 1 hank or 275 yds (252 m)
Substitute Knits ‘N Knots Fingering with any other fingering weight, category #1 yarn that matches gauge.
Hook: Size U.S. F/5 (3.75 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge
Notions: Tapestry needle
