Worsted—Lion Brand Mandala Ombré in “Serene” (Color A)
Worsted—Lion Brand Color Theory in “Ivory” (Color B)
Yardage:
Receiving Blanket – 30” (76 cm) square
•2 skeins or 585 yds (535 m) of Color A
•3 skeins or 560 yds (512 m) of Color B
Baby Blanket – 34” (86 cm) square
•3 skeins or 700 yds (640 m) of Color A
•3 skeins or 680 yds (622 m) of Color B
Lapghan – 34 x 44” (86 x 112 cm)
•3 skeins or 895 yds (818 m) of Color A
•4 skeins or 865 yds (791 m) of Color B
Throw – 50 x 60” (127 x 152 cm)
•6 skeins or 1900 yds (1737 m) of Color A
•8 skeins or 1790 yds (1637 m) of Color B
The sample shown is the Lapghan size.
Yarn Substitution: Substitute Lion Brand Mandala Ombré or Lion Brand Color Theory with any similar worsted weight (category #4) yarn that matches gauge.
Hook: Size U.S. 7 (4.5 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge

GAUGE INFORMATION
4 x 4” (10 x 10 cm) = approximately 15 sts and 12 rows, blocked.
For Swatch:
Ch 21.
Work Rows 1-5 of pattern instructions. [19 sts]
Rep Rows 2-5 until you have completed a total of 17 rows. You should have a total of 5 stripes in Color A and 4 stripes in Color B.
Block and dry your swatch. Measure across the innermost 4” (10 cm) to get the most accurate measurement.

Sizing: This blanket is written in in four sizes as follows: Receiving (Baby, Lapghan, Throw). Make sure to follow the numbers for your size only. Sample shown is the Lapghan size.Stitch Counts: Stitch counts are listed after each row.
Right Side/Wrong Side: The right side is facing you as you crochet all even-numbered rows.
Turning Chain: The turning chain (ch-3) counts as the first double crochet of each row, but the turning chain (ch-1) does not count as a stitch.
Construction: This blanket is worked lengthwise in one panels. A border is worked last to complete the blanket.
Changing Colors: When changing colors, work the last stitch of the row with the old color, but do not work the final yarn-over to close the stitch. Work this yarn-over with the new color. Then drop the old color, leaving your tail here for you to pick up when you work your next stripe.
