The Fuzzy Raglan is a top-down sweater with raglan shaping. It uses only single crochet throughout the entire sweater, and is totally seamless. This pattern includes an “after-thought” method of short-row shaping for a better-fitting garment.

It’s like this fuzzy yarn was created just to make all your wildest 90’s dreams come true and the texture of this yarn makes for the perfect 90’s/early 2000’s inspired sweater. This texture also has an added bonus - it hides the back seam!

This pattern has been professionally graded + tech edited to be as correct as possible. All sizes have been tested!

Sizing
Sizes include XS (S, M, L, XL) (2X, 3X, 4X, 5X) to fit bust sizes 28-30 (32-34, 36-38, 40-42, 44-46) (48-50, 52-54, 56-58, 60-62)“.

The finished bust measurements are: 33 (36, 40.25, 43.25, 47.5) (52, 56, 59, 64). This sweater is designed to have 2-3” of positive ease in the bust and zero ease in the upper sleeves, and a deep yoke.

Choose a size that is 2-3” larger than your actual bust size. For example, model has 34” bust and is wearing a size small with a garment bust measurement of 36”.

Yardage
You will need: 2 (2, 3, 3, 3) (3, 4, 4, 4) cakes of Caron Latte Cakes* for sizes XS (S, M, L, XL) (2X, 3X, 4X, 5X), or 870 (945, 1085, 1180, 1325) (1450, 1600, 1735, 1785) yds of similar category 5, bulky weight (58% acrylic/42% nylon) yarn that matches gauge.

Any yarn can be used to work this sweater but please be aware that if you use a smooth yarn, the seam will be slightly noticeable, and the short rows that are added at the end may be noticeable.

Note that self-striping colourways may result in unwanted colour pooling at the back seam since we join + turn each round. Also note that different dye lots of this yarn vary drastically so make sure to double check the dye lots!

Gauge: 4” = 12 sc x 14.5 rows
