The Charleswood Beanie Pattern - Classic Unisex Beanie using Vanna's Choice

Hi friends!

If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen a new hat pattern that I just released! It's called the "Charleswood Beanie", named after an area in Winnipeg.

 It looks like this -

I have been knitting for 3 years now, and this is my first time knitting a hat that isn't bulky weight! I love my chunky knits, but it's time for something new ;)

I wanted a solid colour, double brim hat that isn't totally fitted at the top. My first sample was very fitted, so I added a few extra rows so that it had a little bit more height. It turned out perfectly!

I used Vanna's Choice yarn in the colour "oatmeal" with size 6mm circular needles. If you're looking for a fun pattern that you can knit up while you're watching Netflix, this is it. It's a really mindless knit - the only parts you need to really pay attention to are the row where you double up the brim, and then the decreases at the top. Easy-peasy.

I'd love to know what your thoughts are! Please comment below or let me know on Instagram (@knitsnknotswpg) if you make it! I'd love to see your finished hat :)
